Generic LLMs cannot interact with block diagrams, so most Al tooling stops at the edge of LabVIEW. The Model Context Protocol changes that. labview-mcp (open source, from Zühlke) gives any MCP-capable Al a structured channel into the LabVIEW IDE and runtime.
